Well Manure Happens

Well Manure Happens

Well Manure Happens! Things are a little dry here financially so I had to go find an outside job! I am now selling cars, for how long I don’t know. So things will be slowing down a bit since it is pretty much a six day a week job at about 12 hours a day! Hopefully I can grab a better gig but in the mean time I’ll just have to settle. One good thing about it is the job is only a mile from the house! Find the rainbow right?

On the Road Again

On the Road Again

Well we’re off on the road again! This week we’ll be in Las Cruces, NM for the third stop of the Great American Tour. Since I don’t have any hired hands this week, mom either quit or fired me I can’t figure which, I’ll be doing just video! But oh well not the first time! I hope to see you all there at the Southern New Mexico Fairgrounds for the Baca’s special Easter celebration and the most talked about opening in rodeo today!

Last weekend I took some time and went and worked on my team roping photography skills! Man what a challenge but how much easier could it be than shooting in Tingly Coliseum during the Spring Super Looper event? With plenty of teams and lots of angles I think I almost had it figured out. Well ok not really but sounded good to me! We got to see lots of our friends while we were there which made the trip extra nice. Of course we saw and visited with the Harpers (http://www.ednaharper.com, http://www.harperhunts.com) and as always Edna had some of the best looking jewelry at her booth. Oh to only be rich! We also saw an old friend Bill Hill of Bill Hill Tack. Man he was looking good, he’s lost a lot of weight! So much so he was hardly recognizable! We also ran into our friends the Walravens from Datil, NM. They were doing and fine and we were happy to hear their son was kicking rear in the Calf Roping in the Grand Canyon Circuit of College Rodeo. Wacey is going to school at NMSU and we are proud of him!

See you all in Las Cruces, Adios!

PRCAs Move to New Mexico

PRCA’s Move to New Mexico

I have it on good authority that the State of New Mexico is looking at three different 200+ acre parcels of land for the building of the new Rodeo and Equestrian Center. All property is currently owned by the State of New Mexico. It was also said that all properties meet the requirements of the PRCA.
