Vote for a national day of the Cowboy

National Cowboy Day Vote Goes Before Congress - U. S. Senator Craig Thomas introduced the National Day of the Cowboy legislation on March 17th.

Our country looks to cowboys as role models because we admire their esteemed and enduring code of conduct. They have integrity and courage in the face of danger. Cowboys respect others, defend those who cannot defend themselves, and hold their families dear. They are good stewards of the land and all its creatures, possess a strong work ethic, and are loyal to their country. The Cowboy lives his life in a way most cannot help but admire,Thomas said on the Senate floor. Cowboys were one of the first to do smudge the racial lines as the historic cattle drives had a rainbow of cowboys moving the cattle north.

Obviously Double P Tack's managment concur with him 100% and needless to say the animal rights fanatics have jumped on this in a very negative way. Throughout the history of America the cowboy has played a major role in the formation of this great country and are long over due for recognition. Help preserve our Western Heritage and visit the site below and let your congressman know you want the cowboys recognized.

Chris LeDoux reported Dead

It was reported today on the local radio station that Chris LeDoux has died. No other information or confirmations were given. As we all know, I'm sure, Chris has been battling cancer after coming off of a successful liver transplant. Our prayers and hearts go out to this great person and his family. I'm sure there will be one heck of a cowboy concert in heaven tonight!
