Things never quite go right

Well things never go quite right do they?

As my rodeo season winds down, my high school sports season picks up! Well this weekend should have been a busy one. With a county volleyball game between Los Lunas and Belen on Thursday and two big football games on Friday one in Los Lunas which was a district game and my alma mater (Aztec) playing Belen; I should have been busy beyond belief. Not including a rodeo only 50 miles away in Socorro and the last regular season game for the Albuquerque Isotopes on Labor Day, I should have been sported out by today! Well that’s not exactly how things worked out.

Thursday night my truck began to grind when I would try to start it. After hundreds of dollars spent and lots of potential income missed out on I found out it was first a battery and second battery cables not tight! What can I say, I feel like a rocket scientist now!

Oh well this promises to be an exciting high school sports season for me. Hopefully it will lay the ground floor for a better rodeo season next year!
