******Well just as expected this was just a case of misinformation and misunderstandings. The newest word is things are being fixed and Hammel will be sanctioned like always.

There is word that the PRCA has refused to resanction the Hammel, MN rodeo this year. Voted one of the top rodeos last year, Hammel was refused resanctioing because they desired to have a WPRA barrel racing during their rodeo.

If this is true and it wasn't some mistake somewhere (forgotten signature, misfiled document) I hope that the problem will work it self out. I like going to a full rodeo and shooting all of the events, true test of my skill as a photographer.

If not Hammel I got a hint for y'all - With as much effort and $$ that y'all put into your event, I'd run the barrels in the morning and a PBR event in the evening, heck even do a county team roping on Sunday. But that's just me if the story is true.
